Human Services
Human rights surface everywhere. Therefore, we take on projects dealing with human persons. Career Guidance, Family Support, Abuse detection and response, Spousal support, Children support. The rights of persons in these groupings are important.

U.S. Program
The Human Rights Defence Group (HRDG) International plays a primary role in focusing the international community on human rights issues worldwide. The HRDG US Program does not simply benefit the immigrant it serves; it benefits their families, the communities where they live, and the US as a whole.
HRDG (U.S branch) is tasked to provide guidance and to assist immigrants transition and assimilate into the system and/or the community. The HRDG is a structured communication network between the system and immigrants. This support is designed to sustain immigrants and ease the stress associated with settling and maneuvering into a new home country.
The HRDG (U.S) is a resource and referral organization to immigrants and their families in assessing and monitoring immigrants’ needs, issues of concern, giving timely, accurate information on resources available, assisting in connecting with other services available in the community, via education and job related issues.
HRDG provides training, information, referral, follow‐up, and outreach services to immigrants through various services and programs. These programs provide coordinated comprehensive support services on education and employment.
Education Program
Empowerment Program
The HRDG US Education Program objective is to help immigrants achieve their academic goals. Immigrants face additional obstacles in higher education like most students who have not completed their primary and secondary education in the US, Immigrant may not be knowledgeable about college in the US, and they are not able to get the same guidance as other students. This program’s mission is to provide educational opportunities and improve educational outcomes for immigrants. The goal is to help them succeed academically and graduate.
Immigrants may require assistance in certification; Diplomas, degrees, and certificates from their home country. This may require the HRDG to provide them with information and resources to assist them depending on the situation.
The need for financial resources and educational resources in the furtherance of educational programs. Financial issues may arise for a variety of reasons, HRDG will work with immigrants, and institutions to identify issues, address immediate needs, and provide appropriate resources and assistance in this regard.
The Migration Policy Institute estimates that 1.9 million immigrant professionals are unemployed, employed at poverty-level wages in low-skill jobs, or significantly underemployed in semi-skilled jobs.
HRDG U.S. branch’s mission is to eliminate employment barriers for skilled immigrants and refugees, and integrate this population into the professional U.S. workforce.
The HRDG US Program aims to help immigrants prepare for, find, and keep a job. The program focuses on long-term skills and career development.
We offer employment preparation classes and services. This part of the program is designed to improve job search skills, self-confidence, independence, and employability.
We help them find immediate employment to meet their daily needs, and transitional employment opportunities, volunteer work, and internships with employer partners to help them strengthen their resumes.
Depending on their unique needs the program also refers members to partner diverse organizations.
International Program
We are an NGO, with the following aims and objectives:
– To bring together persons interested in the promotion and defense of Human Rights and Human dignity.
– To educate the population on their Human Rights and organize them to defend against their violations through, any legal procedures that local jurisprudence may offer;
Informing the international community of Human Rights violations and seeking intervention;
Presenting cases of Human Rights abuse improperly handled by local courts to the Human Right; a committee of the Optional Protocol of the (ICCPR) Covenant on Civil and Political Rights in order to obtain redress and seek compensation for the victims
Organizing the collection and distribution of material and medical aid to victims of Human Rights abuses
Joining the International Community in its struggle to ensure
respect for Human rights dignity and human rights Worldwide.
